Born in Pennsylvania 1991, I spent most of my youth playing with the kids in my cul-de-sac, drawing cartoons, and exploring the fragmented patches of graffitied woods around my neighborhood. Those early days exploring, along with many camping trips with my father, set the path of discovery for my art and me. As a teenager, I spent much of my time traversing the suburban sprawl that I lived in with my friends, discussing stories and ideas. When I finally uncovered every last inch of my hometown ten times over, I set off to Savannah Georgia to further my education at SCAD and find myself as an artist. Most of what I learned is that you never really find yourself as an artist, because unlike the alleyways and streets of a neighborhood, there’s always more to discover in your own mind. In the future I hope to continue with my personal projects like writing and illustrating my webcomic Plainview, but mostly I just hope to never stop exploring, not only with my art but in all aspects of my life.
